I was thrilled when Katie asked me to take photos of her and her sons on her family’s farm. She gave me a quick tour of the barns on the property. She explained that the cows were raised as beef cattle. I was quickly taken back to my great-grandma’s farm in south central Kentucky.
Her sons wanted photos in the hayloft, so they excitedly ran to the top of the barn and sat in the doorway, dangling their legs over the side.
There’s something special about family land where memories are made and last decades. And I loved seeing how close this mama was to her handsome young men.
