This mama emailed me about family photos. She didn’t know what kind of photos or where to have them done; she just knew she wanted them. Worried about her home that was under construction, she originally wanted it outside somewhere. However, it was winter and cold and she was concerned about her younger daughter.
When I asked her about a documentary session, she wasn’t sure. She didn’t know what she and her girls would do together. Having a teenager with a younger sibling can be challenging. I asked her to think about some things that they love doing together, in which the idea of this session came to life.
This mama started doing her older daughter’s hair when she was very young. It was a time when they were able to bond and chat and be together. She carried they tradition on with her younger daughter. What a special time to document for them.
